Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of r2skills.com and services offered by R2Skills, including workshops, training, consulting, and related materials. By using the website or purchasing or participating in a service, you agree to these terms. If you act for a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business.
Additional written terms may apply to a specific engagement, registration, proposal, statement of work, or order. If those terms conflict with these terms, the specific written terms control for that service.
Website use
You may use this website for lawful business and personal purposes. You may not:
- Interfere with the website, its security, or another person’s use.
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data.
- Use automated means to scrape or overload the website without our written permission.
- Use the website or its content to violate law or another person’s rights.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website at any time.
Services and participation
Service descriptions, schedules, deliverables, and eligibility requirements are provided on the website or in the applicable registration or agreement. You are responsible for providing accurate information, meeting stated prerequisites, and participating safely and professionally.
We may update instructors, venues, schedules, or service details when reasonably necessary. If a material change affects a paid service, we will provide an appropriate remedy under the applicable registration or agreement.
Fees, cancellations, and refunds
Prices and payment terms are shown when you register or in your service agreement. You agree to pay applicable fees and taxes when due. Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund rules disclosed for a specific workshop or engagement apply to that purchase. If no specific rule is provided, contact us before purchasing for the terms that will apply.
AI tools and professional decisions
Our training and consulting provide practical education and implementation support. AI systems can produce incorrect, incomplete, or biased output. You are responsible for reviewing outputs, protecting confidential information, following applicable laws and third-party terms, and deciding whether and how to use any recommendation or workflow.
Our services are not legal, tax, accounting, medical, cybersecurity, or other regulated professional advice. Consult a qualified professional for those matters.
Intellectual property
The website, R2Skills branding, course materials, templates, and other content we provide are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Unless specific written terms say otherwise, we grant you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use purchased materials internally for your own business.
You may not resell, publish, distribute, sublicense, record, or create competing training from our materials without written permission. You retain ownership of materials and information you provide to us. Project-specific ownership and license terms are governed by the applicable written agreement.
Confidentiality and feedback
Each party will use reasonable care to protect nonpublic information identified as confidential or that should reasonably be understood to be confidential. This obligation does not cover information that is public through no breach, already lawfully known, independently developed, or lawfully received from another source.
If you provide ideas or feedback about our services, we may use them without restriction or compensation, provided we do not identify you publicly without permission.
Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the website and any generally available content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted operation or that all content will be error-free or fit for every business need. Any warranties for paid services are limited to those expressly stated in the applicable written agreement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, R2Skills will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from the website or services. Our total liability for a paid service will not exceed the amount you paid us for that service during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify R2Skills from third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the website or services, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts serving the Dallas–Fort Worth area, and each party consents to their jurisdiction and venue.
Changes and general terms
We may update these terms by posting a revised version and effective date. Changes apply prospectively. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms without our written consent; we may assign them as part of a reorganization or business transaction.
